Choir Director

Burbank Music Center is hiring for Vocal/Choir Director position.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Burbank, CA for a Children's Choir Conductor and Vocal Teacher at Burbank Music School. The Choir Conductor will be responsible for leading and managing the school's choir program, conducting rehearsals and performances, selecting music repertoire, and collaborating with other music faculty.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in choral conducting and music education
• Strong knowledge of vocal techniques, music theory, and choral repertoire
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff
• Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate choir performances and events
• Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Previous experience working with choirs of varying ages and skill levels
