Plainfield, United States Engage Partners Inc. Full time

Perform multi- discipline tasks associated with in-plant maintenance. Coordinate tasks, services, and repairs with the production schedule, engineering, and outside services as needed. Make repairs and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, in accordance with safety procedures, diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.



Additional Responsibilities:


  • Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance tasks for a small maintenance team.
  • Coordinate work and scheduling between external service representatives and production teams for equipment repairs and services.
  • Research and maintain archives of equipment manuals, drawings, and parts lists to support maintenance functions.
  • Assist engineering in the fabrication and installation of new equipment and processes, contacting equipment Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as required.



Required Skills:


  • Ability to identify basic hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical devices used in an industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical and hydraulic schematics, with a focus on troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of principles and components associated with AC and DC electricity.
  • Capability to inspect and measure used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
  • Competence in installing power supply wiring and conduit for new and used machines and equipment.
