Job Title: Contract Paralegal

Location: Irving, TX 75063

Schedule: M-F, 8AM to 5PM CST

Pay Rate: $36/hr.

Duration: 6 Months + Potential to Extend

Job Duties:

• Conduct research on legal and factual matters, investigate and review records, compile and interpret gathered information, and verify and confirm key details for accuracy
• Identify key decisions, statutes, publications, and other relevant materials
• Create detailed written summaries and reports
• Revise and finalize contracts based on legal feedback and edits
• Manage the contract review and approval process, including preparation for signature
• Draft and examine agreements and legal documents
• Oversee contract lifecycle management and workflow coordination
• Compose professional correspondence
• Proofread and adjust legal forms and documents to ensure precision
• Develop and maintain organized document systems and records
• Track, monitor, and update contract statuses
• Stay informed on new or revised legal requirements and regulations
• Assist with activities such as legal notices and document delivery

Job Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or completion of a certificate program in paralegal studies
• Required: 1+ year(s) of recent contract experience, outside of a law firm
• Required: 2+ years of experience as a paralegal
• Strong understanding of legal concepts and practices
• Expertise in legal research methods, legal terminology, and legal concepts and practices
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Bonus: Spanish Bilingual is a plus but not required
