Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Senior IT Project Manager specializing in Risk Compliance and Fraud to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of IT Project Management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a banking or financial institution setting.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Project Management services to IT Project Managers aligned with Corporate Systems Technology.

- Manage project budgets and timelines, setting clear goals and devising plans to achieve them.

- Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and consolidate workstream status reports.

- Coordinate project team members, develop schedules, and assign individual responsibilities.

- Implement IT strategies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, M&A Accelerator, Clarity, and Planview to track project performance and schedule adherence.

- Schedule and facilitate discussions, tracking minutes in a predefined format.

- Provide weekly report outs to program management and conduct risk assessments for projects.

- Establish and maintain the project's RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

- Identify and organize working sessions necessary to meet project goals and drive progress.

- Identify project goals, needs, and scope, ensuring alignment with risk compliance and fraud prevention objectives.

- Plan, monitor, control, and document tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly, reporting any delays in a timely manner.

- Manage all resources necessary for project execution in conjunction with program management and delivery leadership.

- Foster effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status, particularly related to risk compliance and fraud prevention.

- Proactively foresee and strategically eliminate blockers and potential risks.

- Collaborate effectively with workstream leads and program management to deliver project goals and objectives.

- Document each step of the process using various project management tools, ensuring comprehensive documentation.

- Ensure top-quality results and success for all projects related to risk compliance and fraud prevention initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of IT Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a banking or financial institution setting.

- Strong understanding of risk compliance and fraud prevention concepts and methodologies.

- Extensive experience in managing projects related to risk compliance and fraud prevention within the banking industry.

- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Clarity, and Planview.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project success.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
