Power electronics engineer

We are currently looking for a power electronics engineer to join a well funded GreenTech start up in Hawthorne.
You will be working closely with the founding team to develop power electronics that will be used in a novel power generation product. This role would suit a candidate who wants to work in a high growth environment alongside some incredibly intelligent people to solve some big engineering challenges.
You will be architecting and designing a high power electronics system, bringing the product through from concept all the way through to production.
Base salary for this role is in the region of $160k - $180k, and includes meaningful equity and health coverage.
The role will be based full time on site in Hawthorne, Los Angeles.
You must be either a US Citizen or a Green Card holder to be eligible to carry out this role.
Skills:
- Architecture of high voltage power electronics systems
- Full product lifecycle design, from requirements through to production
- Knowledge of alternators, inverters, and rectifiers
- Knowledge of microgrids
- Board level design
- High voltage
