We are looking for a Buyer who will be responsible for providing Procurement Support for our Lucerne Manufacturing Facility. If you are a team player with strong prioritizing skills, we’d love to meet you


The Exciting Things You Will Do:

  • Attend daily/weekly production and critical order meetings.
  • Gather and present data formally or informally to facility teams.
  • Execute MRP and reorder messages for assigned queues and product lines.
  • Support quoting, sourcing, VMI, and consignment activities.
  • Resolve internal issues such as IR/NCR, RTVs, and invoice discrepancies.
  • Contact suppliers for updates, expedite requests, and date changes.
  • Provide updates to stakeholders within one business day.
  • Offer procurement support for low-cost country suppliers and other team members.
  • Engage in other duties based on order book volume.


Key Skills:

  • Ability to work with a diverse team and independently when needed.
  • Communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, follow-through, and time management.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel functions (e.g., formatting, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, delimited, CONCAT).
  • Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks throughout the day.
  • Comfort working in a machining/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow both written and oral instructions.


Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years (preferred).
  • Willing to train if new to the workforce.


Necessary Knowledge:

  • Excel (Must Have).
  • Understanding of dimensional drawings (Preferred).
  • Quoting and sourcing (Preferred).
  • SQL (Preferred).
