Job description:

Regent Property Management Services is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, Property Manager to join our team in downtown San Diego. The Property Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to the management team supporting two commercial properties and reporting to the Senior Property Manager. In addition to being accountable for the economic performance of the assigned portfolio through diligent budgeting, cost containment, and managing capital expenditures (supporting construction management team), the Property Manager will also conduct regular site visits and will hold vendors and staff accountable to ensure the assigned portfolio is maintained in keeping with company standards (a privately held real estate company/Investment Fund/Property Management Company).


Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum two to four years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Responsible for day-to-day property management operations.
  • Addressing and resolving tenant requests, questions, or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Assist in managing tenant amenities, including, but not limited to, Tenant Lounge, Conference Room Center, Game Room, Lactation Lounge and Fitness Center. Will also aid in tenant rentals of amenities spaces for events.
  • Ensure that contracts being competitively bid, A/R is actively tracked and discrepancies are documented, reported, and efforts be made to diligently collet past due balances.
  • Assist with building walks and coordinate with vendors on corrective needs to ensure the building is maintained in keeping with best in class standards.
  • Responsible for the creation of budgets, preparation of final monthly reporting and various deliverables, and CAM Reconciliations and estimates.
  • Responsible for lease administration process including issue rent commencement letters, maintaining escalations, ensuring the lease information held within our ERP system are verified and corrected prior to loading into the system for reporting purposes.
  • Accountable for insurance certificate compliance by both vendors and tenants.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by Supervisor to meet business needs.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university required (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Property Manager.
  • Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards, or comparable ERP experience required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Building Engines, and other commercial real estate software programs.
  • Professional with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Candidate must be detailed oriented, able to multi-task, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
