DB2 UDB

• Provide all aspects operational support for the DB2-UDB database environment. Ability to support additional DB or BI technologies is preferred.
• Work in onsite offshore model and prove a leadership for the team
• Ability to write complex shell scripts for operational maintenance and automation. Automation - Shell/Perl Scripting ( Python will be add on )
• Strong hands-on experience on DB2 HA/TSAMP and partitioning.
• Good command on DB2 basic concepts.
• DevOps mindset and good to have at least basic Gitlab knowledge.
• Having Ansible, Docker knowledge will add weightage for sure.
• Highly skilled in DB2 LUW administration including (installation, patching/upgrade, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting).
• Monitors and refines processes, procedures, and systems to optimize operational stability and/or integrity and recommends and/or implements improvements.
• Administer audit-based processes for evaluating and submitting evidence and updating processes and other documentation as needed.
• Experience resolving complex problems logically and methodically, and good judgment to involve and communicate with vendors, internal teams, and management.
• Ability to write complex shell scripts for operational maintenance and automation.
• Ability to maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and provide support for BCP exercises and actual disaster recovery.
