Role Description:

As a Project Manager/Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of our painting projects. This hands-on position requires someone who is highly organized and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. You will manage daily tasks, expedite projects, conduct inspections, and coordinate with clients and team members to ensure timely completion.


You will oversee residential and light commercial painting jobs from start to finish, acting as the main point of contact for all parties involved. This includes working closely with prospective customers to understand their needs and provide accurate proposals and change orders. Collaboration with the Owner, Estimators, and painting crews is essential to meet the expectations set in the proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple painting projects, ensuring quality and timely completion.
  • Stay organized, follow guidelines, and effectively multitask.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates.
  • Coordinate schedules with painters, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
  • Assist in preparing project estimates and proposals.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed.



Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management or a related field (experience in painting or construction is a plus).
  • Strong ability to build effective working relationships with employees, managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Inspection experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices is a plus.
  • Must be based near Huntington Beach, CA, with reliable transportation.
