Our client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer. This is a key role within the Offshore Renewables Business, focusing on the delivery of large-scale offshore wind projects in the US and overseas. The individual is responsible to facilitate the design process of an offshore wind project from origination through feasibility, concept, FEED (Front End Engineering Design), detail design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and handover to operations. Key areas of focus include design assurance, design management, design safety, design optimization, and reporting.


Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline - higher-level degree (e.g., MSc) desirable.
  • Chartered, PE, or working towards Chartered/PE status (or relevant equivalent) desirable.
  • Extensive experience designing and working in the offshore industry, preferably offshore wind.
  • Experience in dealing with health and safety and environmental legislation associated with construction, marine and offshore projects.
  • Understanding of key HSE principles to be implemented into Design Review and Assurance activities.
