Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to drive the marketing strategy and initiatives for our animal nutrition product lines. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and foster customer engagement within the equine community to achieve business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy Development:

·       Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic marketing plans drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth aligned with business objectives and target markets.

·       Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the equine nutrition industry.

  • Manage marketing budget and agency partners
  • Develop roadmaps for all channels that will add competitive advantage and scale to our campaigns, including media and publications


2. Brand Management:

·       Develop and maintain brand identity, messaging, and positioning for equine nutrition products.

·       Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

  • Manage the strategy and marketing relationships with Pro Riders, Ambassadors and Influencers
  • Spearhead major partner sponsorships and the relationship.


3. Product Marketing:

·       Lead the development and execution of product launch plans, including go-to-market strategies, promotional materials, and sales support tools.

·       Work closely with the product development team to identify product enhancements and new product opportunities based on customer feedback and market trends.


4. Digital Marketing:

·       Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website management, email marketing campaigns, social media engagement, and online advertising.

·       Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and drive ROI and enhance customer engagement.


5. Content Development:

·       Manage the creation of compelling and informative content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and infographics, to educate and engage equine enthusiasts on the benefits of our products.

·       Develop content calendars and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and relevant content delivery.

  • Create and implement a content strategy based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitive forces - this includes the development of themes/topics, content creation, curation and distribution to help drive thought-leadership, customer acquisition and success


6. Event Marketing:

·       Plan and coordinate participation in equine industry events, trade shows, and sponsorships to increase brand visibility and generate leads.

·       Represent the company at events and establish relationships with key industry influencers and partners.


7. Sales Enablement:

·       Understand and support our sales channels; coordinate the development of internal tools and external collateral that supports training our sales channels.


8.  Team Leadership Collaboration and Communication:

·       Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

·       Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and customer needs.

·       Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on marketing performance, key initiatives, and market trends.


Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

·       Prior experience in the equine industry or related field strongly preferred.

·       Proven track record of managing and developing people.

·       Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.

·       In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing - - Strong leadership communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

·       Passion for horses and a deep understanding of equine nutrition and care.
