Manager – Quality Engineering II

Risepoint LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a Manager – Quality Engineering II to define quality assurance processes across products and software that administer higher education e-learning programs. The Manager – Quality Engineering II's job duties will include:


  • Define quality assurance processes across products and software that administer higher education e-learning programs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, create test plans to identify problems and their causes, and execute functional and regression test scenarios.
  • Create and maintain a library of test plans and test scenarios that maintain traceability to requirements.
  • Research and recommend processes and tools to support quality assurance, including regression and performance test automation tools.
  • Collaborate with internal product development teams to evaluate product issues and develop solutions to remediate those issues.
  • Define and update test automation strategy and provide estimates for quality assurance planning and test execution.
  • Monitor and record results of test execution, interpret results, and identify any trends.
  • Create and maintain automated regression and performance test scripts.
  • Participate in storyboarding and solution design sessions and provide feedback and recommendations on artifacts delivered throughout the development process.
  • May telecommute from anywhere in the United States.
  • Travel to Dallas, Texas office as needed, less than 5% of the time.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent
  • Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
