Role Description

This is a part or full-time on-site role as a Cook, to transition into Sous Chef, at Maximo's on Broad located in Memphis, TN. As a Cook/Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, following recipes and ensuring food quality and presentation, organizing and maintaining kitchen supplies and equipment, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Seeking an experienced cook with a passion for cooking to work dinner shifts Tuesday-Saturday.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Cook or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knife skills necessary
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary school degree or certification is a plus
