Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee, manage, and lead our IT support team.
  2. Implement and configure hardware and software solutions following industry best practices.
  3. Should act as the first point of escalation for IT related issues and work on resolving them timely and efficiently.
  4. Train, mentor, and grow the IT support staff and foster a high-performance work environment.
  5. Monitor system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
  6. Support diverse technology projects and initiatives with potential scalability.
  7. Develop and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
  8. Maintain and test disaster recovery plans to protect business continuity.
  9. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including security protocols to ensure data privacy and protect sensitive company information.
  10. Periodically report to management about the efficiency of IT systems and suggest improvements where needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  2. At least five years of experience in an IT Support/Help Desk role, with at least two years of experience in a leadership or management position.
  3. Proven experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
  4. Deep understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
  5. Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  6. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  8. Ability to lead and motivate team members.
  9. Manufacturing industry-specific IT experience is preferred.
