The Opportunity

Hilltop Bio is looking for a very detail-oriented, self-motivated, energetic individual interested in working in a lab setting.  The primary function of this role is to assist in processing biological tissues into pharmaceutical-grade regenerative therapeutics. This role operates within a professional aseptic cleanroom environment and routinely uses surgical instruments and various laboratory equipment. This person should have experience in a lab or surgical facility.  This person should also have experience performing assays and ELISAs with microplate readers. This position will report to the Manufacturing & Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manufacturing various biological products
• Performing Bradford Assays, Elisa’s, and other quantitative tests
• Receiving, labeling, and safely storing donor materials
• Verifying and stocking inventory to ensure adequate supplies 
• Setting up a sterile field with surgical instruments 
• Sterilizing instruments and supplies using a steam autoclave
• Cleaning laboratory per the schedule and maintaining equipment
• Maintaining an overall aseptic and/or sterile environment throughout the process
• Completing paperwork, including records, daily work logs, and electronic documentation, accurately 
• Maintain confidentiality for sensitive quality and regulatory data

Lab Technician Experience / Qualifications

• Experience with performing Elisa’s and Assays utilizing microplates
• Chemistry techniques
• Familiarity with working in a lab environment / regulated environment
• Cryogenic procedures
• Sterilization
• Supply management
• Problem-solving skills 
• Math skills to perform basic equations
• Knowledge or experience with cGMP or GLP facilities a plus 

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as a lab technician / surgical technician/assistant or laboratory technician with solid knowledge of sterile technique
• Precision motor skills to ensure accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Solid Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive skills
• Comfortable working with biologic materials 
• Must be a team player and work well with others

This is a Full-Time, in-person position only. Job Location is in Norwood MA

Note that there may be days during certain laboratory processes that will be longer than 8 hrs and last until the process is finished.
