Are you a pro at managing building systems and HVAC controls? We're looking for a Building Systems Supervisor to join our NSU Florida Physical Plant department. Here's what you'll do:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, adjust, and maintain electric and pneumatic control systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and more.
  • Oversee and operate automation systems for increased performance and efficiency.
  • Supervise control technicians and contractors, providing training and guidance.
  • Manage special projects and collaborate on complex automation control projects.
  • Maintain control standards, training, and testing procedures.
  • Monitor and control temperature, humidity, and air pressurization flow rate.
  • Conduct equipment tests and repairs as needed.
  • Order necessary parts and supplies.
  • Create reports related to HVAC controls and building automation systems.


Requirements:

  • Available for 24/7 on-call duty for NSU Florida on-campus emergencies.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Seven or more years of experience in HVAC controls, building automation systems, and DDC.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, MSTP, Modbus, BACnet) and associated tools.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration principles.
  • Familiarity with Internet, Email, spreadsheets, WebCTRL, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with building automation software (BAS) and Windows.
