Essential Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records of all receivable and payable transactions.
  • Process transactions in accordance with company policies, including securing approvals, retaining documentation, and processing payments.
  • Reconcile cash transactions, credit card charges, and statements throughout the month and at month-end.
  • Generate and distribute invoices, ensuring compliance with specific requirements from business partners.
  • Monitor email inboxes, incoming mail, and voicemail for invoices and related inquiries, providing necessary research and backup information.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and participate in process improvement and internal control projects.
  • Support external audit requests from audit firms as required.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the general ledger, cost center, and department structure.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, deductive reasoning, and attention to detail.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One and Verify/Therefore is a plus.
