Located in the heart of NYC’s Garment District. YINAN is a ready-to-wear and couture collection that frames dressing as an act of self-empowerment. Founded by Anna Zhou in 2020, YINAN carries the designer’s given name, translating to “a precious piece of art.”Exquisite materials, precise detailing, and meticulous craftsmanship define YINAN’s collections across ready-to-wear, accessories, and jewelry. Through bold, avant-garde proportions and nuanced explorations of identity and emotion, each piece is conceived as a study in narrative and form, articulating a modern vision of strength and intimacy.We are inviting NYC-based, on-site fashion interns to join our Manhattan atelier in shaping a collection defined by intention, refinement, and artistry.You’ll Gain:Immersive, hands-on experience in couture-level dressmakingInsight into collection development and design studio practiceDirect involvement in Feb 2026 NYFW fashion show preparation and presentationAcademic credit or portfolio-building experienceRequirements:A strong foundation in fashion design and stylingKnowledge of textiles and garment constructionProficiency in sewing and meticulous attention to detailAn understanding of aesthetics and proportionHighly organized, collaborative, and communicativeBachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred)Experience with corsetry is a plusDetails:Unpaid: For credit or portfolio experience2-3 days per week Start Date: ASAPNYC-BASED ONLY How to Apply: Please email your resume and portfolio to info@yinan.nyc with the subject line: [Spring internship_yinan new york] (Applications without this subject line will not be reviewed.)Industry: Retail Apparel and FashionEmployment TypeInternship
