Radiologic Technologists at our facility will have the excellent opportunity to deliver a considerable range of services covered under each modality.


LOCATION: Kansas City, KS (66160)


POSITION TYPE: Staff/Permanent


MODALITIES:

(X-Ray Tech) - The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing x-ray procedures to produce images for the purpose of diagnosing disease processes. Procedures can be performed at various locations throughout the main hospital campus as well as associated imaging facilities. The Rad Tech demonstrates competence in both fixed and mobile x-ray devices.


(CT Technologist) - The CT Technologist assists in the production of cross-sectional imaging for the purpose of diagnosing disease processes. The CT Tech is responsible for setting equipment parameters, operating CT scanners and auxiliary devices, providing venous access for the safe administration of contrast materials, and providing patient assessment and education.


(MRI Technologist) - The MRI technologist is responsible for producing quality MR images while providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. MRI technologists are expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.


(Interventional Radiology Technologist) - This specialty certified technologist assists in the performance of diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic radiologic and ultrasonic guided imaging procedures. This technologist is highly trained in working in surgical type work environments and is specifically trained to work in a sterile field.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ARRT (R)
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology Technology
  • BLS certification
  • (Additional certification/licensure/educational requirements vary/apply for each modality)


HOURS/SHIFTS:

  • Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN options available
  • Weekdays or Weekend Premium options
  • Days, Evenings, Overnights - various shift times available
