We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (P. Eng) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, and will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, analyze, and test mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead projects from conception through execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project timelines and budgets.
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs and optimize performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation, maintaining thorough records of designs and processes.
  • Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to understand project requirements and provide expert guidance.
  • Conduct reviews and audits of designs and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and interns, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in [specific industry, e.g., aerospace, automotive, HVAC].
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), FEA tools, and other engineering analysis software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with a creative approach to resolving engineering challenges.
