Job Profile Summary – Records Assistant


Contractor shall provide administrative assistant duties to assist Company's ORLM Team by providing project support, record requests, records QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) activities, legal hold searches, records destruction and records transfers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Perform duties that include records management, forms management, electronic information and image management, and corporate history/archive management
  • Develop and maintain standards for handling records files including but not limited to:
  • Security procedures
  • File check-out and return
  • Location of files that have been checked out
  • Proper placement of returned files
  • Records retention
  • Provide information to and coordinate with employees and contractors involved with activities and projects associated with records classification and retention

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including microcomputers and photocopiers
  • Experience and training related to:
  • Word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
  • Entering and maintaining information in databases
  • Handling confidential information
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and/or extracting information from various sources including files, contracts/agreements, legal documents, manuals, reports, and correspondence
