A growing research facility, specializing in advanced, multiphasic clinical trials, has an exciting opening for a Neurologist to lead a groundbreaking research initiative in Nashville, TN. This will be to come on board as a Principal Investigator. It is a unique role invites an experienced medical professional to spearhead studies focused on neurodegenerative diseases, blending patient care and cutting-edge clinical research.
About the Role
As Principal Investigator, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of neurological research by overseeing the ethical conduct, regulatory adherence, and overall success of clinical trials. This position emphasizes Good Clinical Practice, supporting participant safety, data integrity, and collaboration across research and patient care teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical trial process with oversight of study design and ethical conduct
- Ensure research aligns with FDA, GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and Sponsor guidelines
- Assess patient eligibility, oversee informed consent, and manage all safety monitoring protocols
- Conduct patient assessments, interpret lab results, and review diagnostic findings
- Document all study-related procedures and maintain accurate reporting of eCRFs, SAEs, and protocol deviations
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies and medical monitors, attending Investigator and study-related meetings as required
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree and a valid Tennessee medical license
- Board certification in Neurology or Gerontology (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
