Pay Range: $45/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Convert existing documentation into data collection plans, for use in the new digital record system. Create and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, digital, or web-based publication.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information, identify document requirements, and understand the product or system.
- Edit and proofread documents for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company style guides.
- Manage updates and revisions to technical documentation based on product changes, enhancements, or feedback.
- Release and maintain documents in PLM system.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation meets quality standards and deadlines.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in medical device industry.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
- Proficiency with documentation tools such as [Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe FrameMaker, etc.].
- Ideal candidate will have experience working in a regulated environment (Medical Device Industry)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience as a technical writer or generating documentation for medical products.
