Our client is in search of an experienced and skilled Senior Process Engineer to join their Houston team.


The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, problem-solving abilities, and experience in a manufacturing or production environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct process simulations and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate process performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet production goals.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Implement and maintain safety standards and regulations within the production processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of safety standards and regulations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with project management principles.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
