Logistics Intern

Position Overview:
The Logistics Intern will work closely with the Logistics Manager and the logistics team to support day-to-day operations and gain practical experience in various aspects of logistics management. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn about logistics processes, supply chain management, and warehouse operations while contributing to the success of our logistics initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Logistics Manager in monitoring and coordinating logistics operations and processes
- Support reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating quote packages from suppliers.
- Research potential suppliers, develop, and coordinate supplier relationships as needed.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist in the development and execution of Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans, conducting evaluations periodically.
- Review order specifications to streamline procurement processes and optimize efficiency.
- Support in overseeing shipments, incoming inventory and storage operations
- Assist in analyzing production metrics and data to identify area for improvement and optimization
- Collaborate with team members to maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal and external customers, including Sales Managers, to ensure on-time program deliverables.
- Assist in negotiating pricing with customers/vendors.
- Assist in preparing reports based on procurement activities, inventory, and status.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work legally without visa sponsorship
