Leedo Manufacturing Company was founded in 1971 by Leon and Doris Levinthal before being purchased by Vic Samuels in 1981. More than 50 years later, Samuels remains the majority owner, and Leedo remains committed to meeting the needs of large-scale production builders – true to the vision of our founders. Leedo produces more than 600,000 cabinets per year and more than 100 miles of countertops. The company has two factories located west of Houston, Texas and specializes in traditional face-frame cabinets, European-style frameless cabinets, and laminate countertops for the multifamily industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in East Bernard, TX. As an EHS Compliance Specialist at Leedo Manufacturing Company, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the company's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance programs. You will assess operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards, develop and implement EHS policies and practices, conduct employee training, and monitor and report on EHS performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and standards
  • Experience developing and implementing EHS programs and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence change
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Certifications in EHS-related areas (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Occupational Health and Safety Technologist) are a plus
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or construction industries is preferred
