Director of Physical Therapy

We are seeking a Director of Physical Therapy for our brand new clinic If you are an experienced Clinician that is looking to take on a leadership and managerial role in a brand new clinic with strong referral sources, this is a great opportunity for you


With the support of experienced administration, the Clinic Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of this clinic, while providing outstanding one-on-one patient care. The Director responsibilities include supervision of both clinical and office support staff, as well as ensuring adherence to all APTA standards, policies, and procedures.


Requirements:

  • Graduated from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • A Physical Therapist currently licensed in Florida (or able to expeditiously begin licensing process)
  • Oversee daily clinic operations and address patient and provider issues as they arrive
  • Maintain a clean and safe clinic environment for patient, provider, and staff
  • Maintain staff compliance with federal, state, and insurance rules pertaining to evaluations and treatment
  • Provide evaluations and/or treatment to a diverse patient population
  • Document evaluations and/or treatment consistent with professional, federal, state, and insurance standards
  • Bill evaluations and/or treatment consistent with professional, federal, state, and insurance standards
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and insurance rules pertaining to evaluations and treatment
  • Maintain active license in accordance with federal and state laws
  • Maintain knowledge of current practice guidelines and provide care reflective of the aforementioned
  • Communicate effectively with adjunct staff including clinic director, therapist assistants, therapy aides and office manager
  • Provide direct and/or indirect supervision of supporting staff via telecommunication if needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources per company guidelines
  • Establish and maintain marketing efforts via face to face interaction, internet, and social media
  • Capable of treating a minimum of 55 visits per week
  • Capable of treating a minimum of 100 visits per week with physical therapy assistant
