DESCRIPTION

This Creative Designer role will be a function of the Field Sales Experience pillar (Events, Product/Sales Experience, Logistics & Assets, Procurement, Product/Sales Training) under a dedicated Consumer Electronics program at Mosaic. This role will be responsible for owning our design process from conception to execution, including creating the designs for all of our clients' sales, product and event strategy campaigns. They will be responsible for the production of all creative / design needed throughout a dedicated, specific Consumer Electronics brand including Google Slides presentation template designs, promotional display posters, brochures, sales flyers, product display designs, event posters, brand product promotional material and other print-related communication, amongst other areas needed to support the greater function of the team. You will also be responsible for learning, understanding and keeping up to date with brand guidelines and ensuring all digital and print materials created (by you and external parties) follows guidelines. This position is fast paced and will require strong time management and multi-tasking skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Some Essential Functions of this Position:

  • Dedicated to a singular Consumer Electronics brand and representing both US & Canada markets.
  • You will be a brand champion, ensuing accuracy by understanding and applying the brand guidelines, following internal creative processes and acquiring necessary approvals.
  • Learn and adopt Client Brand tools and databases to help support function of role and complete necessary tasks.
  • Work on a wide range of projects, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs and artwork that meet Clients business goals.
  • Obtain input from manager and client stakeholders to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
  • You will be responsible for designing and developing Google Slides presentation templates for various functions/purposes (Sales Reporting, Product Pitch Meetings, Training)
  • Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities
  • Update and maintain internal databases for brand materials, designs, photography, and video
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
  • Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
  • Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Manage a wide variety of projects/demands at one time with quality execution and on time delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned in collaboration with the Field Sales Experience Team. Including but not limited to: event experience design, vendor and production management, on-site event support.
  • It is important to note that the team functions with an “all hands on deck” mentality. While you will have your dedicated day to day responsibilities, you will be expected to support in other areas when/where needed to help achieve client goals and priorities.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Requirement:

• Graphic Design and/or Creative Design education preferred

• Less than 1-2 years of experience.

• Experience with a marketing or ad agency, graphic design firm or consumer electronics company is a plus.


Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

  • Fully versed in photo editing and design softwares
  • Adobe creative software commonly used graphics packages; such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator);
  • Working knowledge of Canva is a bonus (not required)
  • A strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail);
  • You will solely work within this, with the majority of time spent in Google Slides.
  • You are versed in design methods & processes needed to produce outstanding frameworks and deliverables.
  • Strong conceptual thinker: campaign concepts, retail activations, headlines, promotions, scripts, display ads, social media posts, experiential concepts
  • Strong understanding/passion around digital and creative technology - both how to write/create for digital mediums, and how to harness innovation and tools to optimize creative output
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and visually. Detail oriented is a must.
  • You are flexible and comfortable working in a sometimes ambiguous and dynamic environment.
  • You are comfortable working closely with cross functional teams and eager to learn as you go.


Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Ability and willingness to travel 10% - 25% of the time
  • Travel to Canada & US as required.
  • Must be available to work flexible work hours which will include evenings and/or weekends at times.
  • Must have valid Passport
