CNC Machinist

$25-$35/hr DOE + OT


* WILL RELOCATE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE *

1st shift: 7am – 3:30pm

2nd shift: 3:30pm – 12am +10% shift diff

OT: Saturdays 6am - 11am

MUST BE A US CITIZEN

In the CNC Machinist position, you will be responsible for complex machining tasks, setup, and operation of CNC and manual machines. This role requires a level of expertise in machining processes, problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior machinists.

Daily Functions:

- Operating manual, semi-automated, or automated tools and machinery e.g., lathes, grinders

- Utilize advanced precision tools and instruments, such as micrometers and CMMs, for precise measurements

- Configure tooling and offsets accurately, including setup and adjustments for new and existing jobs

- Perform minor program adjustments for speed, feed, and cutting depth

- Perform routine maintenance on machines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity

What is needed:

- Advanced proficiency in shop math, including trigonometry, fractions, decimals and geometric dimensioning

- Knowledgeable in reading GD&T

- A basic knowledge of part holding and deburr methods and tools

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints

- Advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and address complex machining issues
