Sales Director, Member Growth

The Role

The Director is a hands-on sales and business growth professional who manages a high performance inside sales and member success teams focused on Group and Company Premium Membership sales, (event attendees, annual membership and content subscription access). The Director is accountable for achieving results and rolls up their sleeves to lead by example.


SAPinsider conducts 6-10 global events and summits annually where the Member Growth team has direct ownership of driving attendee sales and member renewal performance.


The Director reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Specific Responsibilities include:

Staff, train and lead a high activity BDR team of four (4) assuring high quality meetings and pipeline opportunity performance.

Lead a high touch prospect company engagement team assuring trust relationships are established across all current subscription members and companies.

Manage a Member Success team focused on new member enrollment, monthly check ins and annual renewals.

Drive an annual $5.0M bookings and renewal sales quota achievement.

Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas for Premium Membership Services (annual subscription services and event delegate ticket sales).

Manage a high performing 90-day renewal pipeline.

Manage

Drive greater than 80% company level annual retention for all subscription member companies.

Work directly with the CRO to always assure full pipeline visibility and deliver timely and accurate sales and renewals reporting for management.

Follow up on eCommerce registrations for Event Attendees to expand group sales within the company.

Conduct prospecting across all prior event and summit attendees converting them into sales opportunities.

Maintain and manage all contact history for every prospect in SFDC.

Professional Qualifications

An ideal candidate will possess:

  • experience in leading event delegate and annual subscription membership sales and service teams.
  • for working with IT and Business professionals on their educational needs associated to using enterprise software and technology solutions.
  • to achieving monthly meeting and sales goals.
  • speaking, writing and communication skills.
  • organizational and time management skills.
  • experience working in SFDC and SFDC Reporting.

Compensation
