RBT CPAs is seeking a talented and motivated Staff Writer to join our team. As a Staff Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality thought leadership articles that engages, informs, and educates our readership. You will work closely with Partnership group to develop articles, blog posts, features, and other written materials that support our brand’s mission and voice.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and well-researched articles on various topics, ensuring accuracy, proper tone, and alignment with the company's style guide.
- Research: Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics using credible sources to produce fact-based, informative, and timely content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editors and other team members to brainstorm, pitch, and refine story ideas and content formats.
- Content Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices into written content to improve discoverability and engagement.
- Revision and Editing: Edit and proofread own work and occasionally the work of others to ensure high editorial standards are met.
- Meet Deadlines: Consistently meet deadlines and deliver content on time while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Audience Engagement: Understand and adapt to the target audience, ensuring content resonates with readers and encourages interaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a writer or content creator, ideally with a portfolio of published work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
