I am currently working with a leading AM LAW 100 ranked firm, who are actively looking to recruit an attorney to join their corporate finance group in Chicago.


Job Description:

The national group is seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Finance Attorney to join it's Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance law, excellent analytical and communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services to clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with leading partners on a broad array of corporate finance matters, including M&A transactions, securities law, venture capital, private equity, and corporate governance.
  • You will work with national clients on investment transactions, finance related forms and statements and provide advice on corporate governance matters.
  • You will work as lead associate on public and/or private offerings of equity and debt securities.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing corporate finance law matters - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
