As a Quality Engineer, you will analyze product capabilities, communicate customer requirements, train appropriate individuals in SPC, coordinate process capability studies, and assure that only quality product is received by the customer.
Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will analyze product capabilities, communicate customer requirements, lead customer complaints & corrective action, and ensure that only quality product is received by the customer. Additional duties include the following:
- Coordinate Process Capability studies and report on quality performance.
- Develop and maintain the SPC program as needed.
- Coordinate customer quality requirements, and develop customer validation requirements, protocols, and completion reports, as needed. (PPAP, COA, Supply Data, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.).
- Lead quality investigations of non-conformances and customer complaints and develop corrective/preventive action plans. Follow up on CAPA closure.
- Lead customer complaints and corrective action. Responsible for timely follow-up on all Customer Complaints action items, Verification of Implementation (VOI), and Verification of Effectiveness (VOE) for effective closures.
- Monitor and update Quality Assurance programs (DOE, process control plans, etc.)
REQUIRED: PAID TRAINING AND TRAVEL DURING THE WEEK TAKING PLACE IN FLAGSTAFF, AZ, JANESVILLE, WI, AND BAJA, MX FOR 3-4 WEEKS.
Work schedule during training period Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 4:00pm
Qualifications
- Four-year related degree or equivalent experience. (Required)
- 3+ years' experience as a QC/QA Engineer. (Required)
- Previous quality experience in a Manufacturing environment with heavy exposure to SPC, Process Control, & Process Capability Studies. (Required)
- Experience working with SPC (CP & CPK).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual - English/Spanish. (Required)
- Good computer skills (Word processing, spreadsheets, database)
- Good organization skills - ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Experience in an ISO organization a plus.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Your hours:
Four, 10-hour shifts every week
1st Shift: 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
