This role will be responsible for product development and sourcing in coordination with the sales team and brand manager. This individual will work with factories to obtain product costs and negotiate pricing to achieve margin goals.


This role is in office in Nashville, TN.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain supplier relationships and communicate daily, as needed
  • Execute and deliver all key calendar dates, including development deadlines and shipment timelines
  • Collect raw material and finished goods quotes/pricing negotiations
  • Communication of capacity planning/forecasting for each cycle
  • Facilitate new vendor set up information, item number, and UPC set ups
  • Assist in updating the model line with product details and updates ensuring accuracy
  • Coordinate testing with QC lab to determine wick, carton/partition selection and log burn test data
  • Coordinate, unpack, label, organize, archive, and store samples


Requirements:

  • Bachler's degree
  • Attention to detail and meticulous organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management
  • Previous experience in overseas travel to manufacturing facilities
