We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, implementation, and migration of a new network infrastructure. You will be responsible for building a new network in front of our existing infrastructure and then seamlessly migrating critical components to the new system. This project demands a strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, with a preference for experience with Ubiquiti UniFi switches.


Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a new network infrastructure separate from the existing end-client network.

• Configure and manage network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls (experience with Ubiquiti UniFi switches preferred).

• Utilize Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols for network segmentation, routing, and security.

• Develop a comprehensive migration plan to move existing network components to the new infrastructure with minimal disruption.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of the new network before migration.

• Document the entire network design and configuration for future reference.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new network.
