Job Description:

JOB DUTIES:

• Using detailed test procedures, the functional test technician will perform various electrical testing on packaged silicon devices to determine functionality of the device.
• The duties include but are not limited to changing the setup of hardware and software on an ATE tester or bench system.
• Through the use of various internal hardware test tools, internal software utilities or third utilities will capture and report failures to engineering and debug teams.
• Functional technician will capture and record results/data into various databases.
• Assigned tests must be completed in a timely fashion based off expected completion time and customer/internal roadmap deadlines.
• Must be able to multi-task under high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• AAS Degree in Computer Engineering/Technology or equivalent training and experience; Strong background in handling ESD sensitive devices, use of ATE testers, Agilent, Advantest, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1+ years working in a test lab; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on detail, including use of MS Office software.
