Position: Associate Attorney – Civil DefenseLocation: Columbia, SCAbout Our Client:Our client is a dynamic law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal defense across a variety of civil litigation areas. They are seeking an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of civil litigation experience to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse range of matters across multiple industries, including retail, construction, trucking, product liability, and governmental affairs.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in civil defense litigation matters across multiple practice areas.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Maintain accurate case files and meet firm expectations, including 1,800 billable hours annually.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in good standing.1+ years of experience in civil litigation or defense practice.Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $90k – $130k Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical insurance (TBD)Dental insurance(TBD)Vision Insurance(TBD)401(k) retirement plan (TBD)
