POSITION: Pricing Analyst

DURATION: 8-month contract position

LOCATION: 3617 Parkway Lane Peachtree Corners, GA

WORK SET-UP: Hybrid (Onsite training and will transition to a hybrid set-up)

SALARY: $35/hour in W2


Overview:

The EP Business Unit, located in Peachtree Corners, GA is growing steadily and is seeking a highly qualified and energetic Pricing Analyst for the MAP (Mixed Apparatus Pricing) Team. This position reports to the MAP Manager and is located in Peachtree Corners, GA. This position allows limited remote working following company policies.

• The Pricing Analyst plays a significant role in business generation of Switchboards, Panelboards, Busway, Unit Substations, and other products by providing competitive and profitable pricing for project opportunities.

• The Pricing Analyst works closely with company Sales, Business Developers, Product Management, Project Management, and 3rd party Suppliers in executing the pricing strategies for projects of varying complexity.


Responsibilities:

• Manage apparatus pricing for projects in specific Sales regions, primarily using COMPAS GO and some associated tools.

• Manage the MAP Queue ensuring responsiveness to quotes for all regions.

• Collaborate with Sales to identify and reach their target prices by project.

• Support BU profit goals by managing the margins applied in project pricing.

• Follow pricing and margin guidelines provided by MAP team management.

• Contact 3rd party suppliers for costs and assign sell prices on buyout products such as transformers.

• Collaborate with fellow MAP team members for consistent practices and responsiveness.

• Collaborate with the Standard Products Pricing team.

• Collaborate with COMPAS support to drive process improvements.

• Comply with and enforce company’ policies and procedures.



Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Demonstrates strong system skills, especially using COMPAS GO, Excel, and Word, as well as PowerPoint.

• Have a basic understanding of electrical distribution equipment, especially panelboards, switchboards, and busway.

• Applies a high level of critical thinking to balance profitability and competitiveness in pricing decisions.

• Applies a strong Customer Service orientation with internal customers utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Demonstrates a moderate knowledge of low voltage distribution apparatus, systems, and terminology.

• Demonstrates and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.

• Above average math comprehension is needed due to the financial nature of the role.


Education & Experience:

• BS/BA degree required, majors in technical or financial vocations are preferred.

• Professional experience including 2+ years in the electrical distribution industry.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Experience in a team setting with shared goals and successful results.
