The ideal candidate will:

  • Cherish Our Heritage: Understand and respect the longstanding traditions that have defined the Morrisville PD, building trust and rapport within our community.
  • Embrace Change: Be motivated by the challenges of modern policing; be willing to implement innovative approaches and technologies that enhance our effectiveness and community engagement.
  • Foster Evolution: Guide our department in evolving practices that are inclusive, equitable, and adaptable, ensuring we remain responsive to the changing needs of the community we serve.
  • Bridge Gaps: Serve as a catalyst for change, bridging traditional values with the demands of 21st-century policing, ensuring that progress enhances rather than erodes our foundational principles.
  • Inspire Collaboration: Create a culture of openness and collaboration where new ideas are welcomed, and every officer feels empowered to contribute to our collective mission.

Salary and Benefits:

The starting salary for this position is $120,000, increasing based on qualifications, training, and experience.
