Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage a multi-discipline design team (Electrical, Embedded Software, and Systems Engineers).
  • Lead the electronics hardware design efforts, making key design decisions and supporting engineers through the product development process.
  • Implement engineering best practices to ensure products meet the highest standards for customers and industry requirements.
  • Provide leadership to the engineering team, including performance management, appraisals, and promotions.
  • Contribute to the hiring and interview process for the engineering team.


Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, on-site
  • Location: Los Angeles
  • Salary Range: $180k-$230k base salary, plus bonus package (commensurate with experience)


Required Experience:

  • Previous experience managing an engineering design team.
  • Proven track records leading entire product development projects.
  • Circuit design, simulation, board layout, schematic capture.
  • Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred:

  • Designing high-speed communications products.
  • Medical devices and understanding of compliance standards such as IEC 60601.
