Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Back-end Developer to join our dynamic team in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using Postgres and familiarity with the Charles River Development (CRD) platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of back-end systems to support business operations and financial systems integration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries using Postgres.
  • Integrate and work with the Charles River Development (CRD) platform for financial systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and optimal user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of back-end systems.
  • Optimize back-end performance, scalability, and security.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply best practices in back-end development.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a back-end developer, with strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Postgres databases.
  • Familiarity with Charles River Development (CRD) platform is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of API development and integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex back-end systems.
  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, scalability, and security practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
