As a start-up fabrication shop specializing in reupholstery and restoration, and custom furniture, our team brings masterful experience in design and fabrication. We are looking to expand with an individual who embodies our dedication to craftsmanship and quality.

Qualifications:

• Experience in upholstery or furniture restoration.
• Working knowledge of materials and methods for upholstered pieces including but not limited to foam, leather, cane, metal etc.
• Ability to work independently and within fabrication guidelines.
• Able to perform basic math and read construction drawings.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize expert skills in both traditional and contemporary upholstery techniques to create and restore furniture pieces.
• Demonstrate mastery in fabric cutting, sewing, templating, and the complete upholstery process.
• Sewing all types of fabric and leather, including linen, mohair, supple leather, and stiff leather.
• Communicate effectively in English, with proficiency in Spanish considered a plus.

Benefits:

• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
• 80 hours paid-time-off
