New full-time opportunity with our client, a professional service firm that supports all aspects of mobility, land development, preservation, and infrastructure. This role is required to be onsite 5x a week.



Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience in civil land development projects
  • Project Management experience
  • Managing a design team is preferred
  • Proposal preparation including scope, schedule and fee + contract management and billing
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Professional Engineering License or Landscape Architecture License in Maryland or RLA - Registered Land Architect
  • Strong communication


Plus:

Industrial or Municipal experience


Day-to-Day:

Working alongside of a team of various civil engineers, serving as a technical resource, mentor, and lead

Responsible for project delivery of complete civil design packages including coordination/oversight of multiple design disciplines.

Duties include oversight of preparation of plans, technical specifications, quantity takeoffs and construction estimates in accordance with state design manuals and standard drawings.

Provide input to develop project-specific safety plans and implement project safety plans and ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local safety rules and regulations

Develop and maintain customer relationships by soliciting monthly performance feedback, identifying client needs, and identifying the next project

Report monthly proposal results to operations manager
