Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at Spine & Rehab Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating and assessing patients' physical conditions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Implement and monitor therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve patients' mobility and function.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Previous experience in an outpatient setting preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
