Key Responsibilities

Java Development:

  • Develop scalable and high-performance Java applications, including microservices and backend systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

Real-Time and Batch Solutions Development:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-speed, real-time data processing solutions using distributed computing frameworks.
  • Build and optimize batch processing solutions to handle large volumes of data efficiently and reliably.

Distributed Computing Frameworks:

  • Utilize Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Kafka Streams, or similar frameworks to build and manage distributed data processing systems.
  • Implement data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workflows to support real-time and batch processing needs.

Quality Assurance Focus:

  • Develop and execute test plans and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the data processing solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve issues related to performance, data accuracy, and system stability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts in testing and quality practices.

System Integration and Optimization:

  • Integrate various data sources and sinks into the processing pipelines, ensuring smooth data flow and transformation.
  • Optimize system performance, including tuning and scaling distributed computing clusters.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to data processing and distributed systems.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document system architecture, design decisions, and development processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on system performance, processing metrics, and project progress.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on high-performance applications.
  • Proven experience in building real-time and batch data processing solutions using distributed computing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Kafka Streams, or similar technologies.


Technical Skills:
