Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and leading teams in the development of comprehensive facility electrical designs. You will oversee all aspects of electrical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and best practices while delivering high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate complex designs and teams with minimal oversight.
  • Oversee project electrical engineers and designers, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and quality assurance/quality control processes.
  • Develop scope requirements for new projects.
  • Create and manage work plans and budgets.
  • Nurture relationships with existing clients and actively seek new opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship to junior associates and contribute to their professional development.
  • Understand advanced electrical theory and calculations to solve technical challenges.
  • Engineer of Record for projects under your direction.
  • Perform site visits and investigations, providing clear direction for field solutions.
  • Develop calculations, design narratives, and work plans for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • In depth understanding of the components of the electrical requirements with other disciplines such as mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, photometric software, and other tools to support project setup and execution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required) 8+ years of relevant technical and management experience.
  • Experience working in a professional A/E office, consulting firm, or construction contractor preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, photometric software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
