Summary

The Collaboration Solution Architect is a pre-sales engineering role supporting and assisting Encore's Account Managers in building customer relationships and communicating Encore's vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco Unified Communications, Cisco Contact Center (Cloud and On-Prem), and Solutions+. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing collaboration solutions that meet our client's business needs, with a key focus on planning, design, and presentation of Encore's technology solutions to customers with varying degrees of technical experience.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business goals, technical challenges, and requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to gather relevant information about the client's existing systems, processes, and future needs.
  • Analyze client requirements and design comprehensive, scalable, and efficient IT architectures that align with industry best practices and our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and vendors to develop customized proposals and presentations that demonstrate the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Create Solution Overviews, High Level Designs (HLD), Bill of Materials (BOM), write proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with customers and internal teams.
  • Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on technology adoption, system integration, and optimization strategies.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong understanding of Cisco Unified Communications and Contact Center
  • Industry experience with Cisco, Calabrio, SpinSci, RedSky, and Genesys
  • Problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills required.
  • Exceptional customer facing skills.
  • Able to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment.


Required Experience

  • Designing of solutions for health care, enterprise, commercial, and public sector customers.
  • Proven success and experience selling technology solutions and services.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, preferably within a VAR.
  • 2+ years of experience developing proposals and statements of work.


Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or military experience


Travel

Local Travel with some Regional Travel (< 50%)
