Remarketing Analyst

Job Summary:

The Remarketing Analyst will be stationed at primary auction facilities and will play a key role in ensuring the seamless processing and sale of auction vehicles, in compliance with internal Auction Sale Agreements and Comprehensive Auction Agreements. This role involves independent judgment, discretion, and decision-making authority. The Remarketing Analyst will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring accurate and timely inspections.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure 3rd Party Inspection Vendors follow established inspection guidelines.
• Review and verify the accuracy of 3rd Party Inspection Vendors' monthly invoices; make recommendations for payment outside the established agreement if necessary.
• Generate and analyze performance metrics for 3rd Party Inspection Vendors to ensure compliance and service quality.
• Maintain and strengthen vendor relationships to optimize the accuracy and timeliness of inspections.
• Exercise independent decision-making to resolve issues related to vehicle inspection, compliance, and vendor performance.
• Work closely with auction teams to ensure vehicle processing aligns with company agreements and standards.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a remarketing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent training preferred.
• Strong understanding of PC applications, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, particularly as they relate to invoicing and vendor payments.
• Thorough knowledge of the vehicle inspection process and industry standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present information clearly to large groups, including executive management.
• High-level organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with auctions or automotive remarketing companies.
• Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
