JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by providing accurate cost estimates for projects. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and meet all specifications.
DUTIES
- Conduct detailed analysis of project plans and specifications
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets
- Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs and provide ongoing cost control
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs
EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in roof estimating and project management
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as stacked
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Ability to accurately price materials, labor, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
