Title: QA Engineer


Location: Hybrid in Buffalo, NY

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the quality and effectiveness of our workforce identity access management solutions.


Overview:

As a QA Engineer specializing in workforce identity access management, you will be responsible for planning, documenting, and conducting system testing within this domain. You will collaborate closely with Business Owners, Development, Operations, and Technology staff to develop effective test strategies and plans. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining compliance with the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute testing activities related to workforce identity access management solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies and plans.
  • Communicate test approaches and present test status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Assist in the development and adherence to Quality Assurance best practices, standards, and processes.
  • Create test matrices and templates for large-scale testing initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and employee appraisal processes.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and maintains internal control standards.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 3 years’ experience in software development, software testing, fraud prevention, compliance, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with various types of functional and nonfunctional software testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with implementing QA processes using industry standard heuristic models and methodology.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive timelines.


Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with Test Automation development.
  • Familiarity with Identity Access Management (IAM) principles.
  • Software testing certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development framework.
  • Previous leadership experience.
